Summer Laborer - Ready Mix - (Baltimore - Roving)

This Summer Laborer role involves assisting with the daily operation of a ready-mix plant, performing various physical tasks, and actively promoting safety in accordance with OSHA and company standards.
Requirements
- A valid Driver’s License is required.
- Must be able to work overtime and extended hours depending on customer and company demands.
- Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
- Must have some knowledge of industrial tools, their uses, and maintenance.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of general principles and practices of industrial maintenance, construction, or aggregate production is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Take an active role in prioritizing safety throughout the operation for yourself and others at all times in accordance with OSHA and Vulcan standards.
- Perform a variety of tasks assisting with the daily operation of the plant, including using hand tools, cleaning, washing, sweeping, shoveling materials, and handling 40 lb. bags of ice.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
