The BCI Skills Center develops vocational training programs in partnership with local businesses to provide direct, competitive jobs for students. The Summer Job Coach is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Summer Work Experience program site. This includes work site training for summer participants, maintaining quality instruction, administering onsite social skills training, and setting goals. The coach provides guidance and direction, intervenes with participants one-on-one, and sets a professional example. They act as an advocate for participants and business partners and must be able to work independently, making decisions to guide participants to a successful and positive work experience.
