Summer IT and Security Intern
About The Position
Rockland Manufacturing | Bedford, PA Spend your summer helping build the systems that keep Rockland running. We’re looking for a Summer IT Systems & Security Intern to support projects that improve automation, device management, and Microsoft 365 security across our manufacturing locations. This role is ideal for a student interested in IT infrastructure, endpoint management, cybersecurity, and process improvement . Rather than traditional helpdesk-only support, this internship focuses on the tools and systems that make IT support faster, smarter, and more secure.
Requirements
- Student pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- Interest in Microsoft Intune, M365, device management, or security
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving mindset
- Interest in process automation and systems improvement
- Comfortable learning in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Assist with automated operating system upgrades across company devices
- Help rework and improve our Microsoft Intune deployment
- Support application installs and software deployment automation based on user group membership
- Assist with Microsoft 365 security administration and best practices
- Help improve systems that reduce manual IT workload and streamline support processes
- Support endpoint policies, device compliance, and security configurations
- Participate in IT improvement projects across Rockland facilities
