Roers Companies is seeking an energetic, dedicated professional to join our team 20 - 25 hours per week as an IT Intern for Summer 2026. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve IT issues in a logical and efficient manner.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare onboarding technology packages and equipment for remote and in-office new-hires
  • Visit job sites to troubleshoot computer and network problems, as well as perform routine maintenance and upgrades.
  • Use a company vehicle or a personal vehicle (with mileage reimbursement) to travel to job sites as needed.
  • Install, configure, and update software and hardware for staff and clients.
  • Monitor and maintain IT inventory and equipment.
  • Document IT processes and procedures and follow best practices.
  • Assist with other IT projects and tasks as assigned.
