Starlite Building Services - Summer Internship
About The Position
Starlite Building Services is a construction services operation that serves clients throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire, New York City, Miami, Bentonville AR, and Los Angeles. Our team is made up of hundreds of talented and dedicated craft workers providing valuable assistance with project scope, budgeting, scheduling, site logistics, and materials. We are looking for college students (rising Juniors and Seniors) seeking internships for the summer of 2026 in Boston. This internship will provide advance consideration for a full time opportunity after graduation. The ability to build strong relationships is key for our Starlite internships. These roles are hands on and will work closely with our established project teams providing you a wonderful introduction to the industry and company culture.
Requirements
- A rising Junior or Senior working towards a degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Building Construction, Mechanical Engineering, etc. There are no specific major requirements, however these are the most relevant
Responsibilities
- Tracking man power, hours, and tasks on site for field verification
- CPR, CCIP, EEO reporting and tracking for workforce compliance
- T&M slip tracking and pricing
- Change Order management
- Tool and equipment inventory
- Assist with Job Cost Labor audits as needed
- Shadow PMs on site visits and estimating walk throughs
- Update Project related documents such as Allowance Trackers, Histograms, PO Logs, Daily Reports, time cards, change order logs, production trackers, etc.
- Assist with gathering and submitting new hire paperwork and tracking background check submissions for required field staff.
