Internship Description: Join us for a summer internship as an Administrative, Food & Beverage, and Hotel Operations Intern, where you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in various aspects of our hotel's operations while working alongside seasoned professionals. Throughout the internship, you will rotate between departments, gaining valuable insights into administrative tasks, food and beverage service, and hotel operations management. Intent and Function of Internship Descriptions: Our internship descriptions are crafted to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the internship role while outlining essential responsibilities and skills. While the outlined duties represent core functions, interns will have the opportunity to engage in diverse learning experiences tailored to their interests and career goals. Note: This internship opportunity does not constitute an employment contract and is subject to the organization's "at-will" employment policy. Please note that this internship is unpaid, and college credits may be offered based on institution requirements.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and availability to work flexible hours.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support executive staff with daily office tasks, including data entry, filing, and correspondence management.
  • Assist with the coordination of events, meetings, and guest reservations.
  • Learn the intricacies of food and beverage operations by shadowing staff and assisting with service tasks.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure seamless dining experiences for guests.
  • Gain hands-on experience in hotel operations, including front desk procedures, housekeeping coordination, and facility management.
  • Engage in special projects and assignments to enhance your learning experience across departments.
