Internship Program is a 10–12‑week immersive experience designed to develop high‑potential candidates through hands-on work that connects your strengths and interests with real business needs. You’ll work on meaningful projects, gain visibility with leaders across the company, and grow your professional network. We prefer that interns have only one or two semesters left in their degree program so they can be considered for our Leadership Program immediately after completing the internship. Our Leadership Program is a full‑time, entry‑level rotational program that allows recent graduates to explore different areas within a functional area. These experiences enable young talent to expand their skill set and network within the company while discovering what they are passionate about early in their careers. As a Product Management Intern, Enterprise Planning & Analytics, you will help shape analytics, dashboards, processes, and product capabilities that support Acuity’s demand and supply planning functions. You’ll contribute to improvements in forecast accuracy, operational visibility, decision velocity, and overall planning maturity as part of Acuity’s digital transformation.

Requirements

  • In addition to pursuing a Bachelor’s (senior) or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited college or university, qualified interns will have:
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Relevant internship, research, or project experience in analytics, supply chain, finance, consulting, or technology‑enabled business processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a data‑driven mindset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information.
  • Proven time‑management and prioritization abilities in fast‑paced or ambiguous environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Power BI, or exposure to Tableau, SQL, Python, or similar BI/analytics tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, etc.) is a plus; planning tool experience is not required.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Planning & Analytics product roadmap by evaluating feature opportunities, organizing work, and helping align priorities with business needs.
  • Translate planning-related needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and assist in coordinating day‑to‑day project activities.
  • Contribute to building and enhancing BI dashboards and reports used across demand, supply, and inventory planning.
  • Help define, validate, and monitor KPIs that drive data‑supported decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Perform data validation, troubleshoot data quality issues, and ensure consistency and trust in planning analytics.
  • Participate in user interviews, process walk‑throughs, and discovery work to uncover pain points and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with teams across Planning, Sourcing, Sales/Product, Finance, and IT Engineering to support alignment and unblock progress.
  • Use structured problem‑solving approaches, such as mapping workflows or analyzing root causes, to clarify issues and support solution design.
