We're looking for an intern to join our Risk team! In this role, you’ll work directly as a member of the team to help build a world-class security and risk management ecosystem. Working within the organization, you'll collaborate cross-functionally with IT, Legal, Compliance, and other teams to help build resilient, automated, and data-driven frameworks and processes that protect our business and our customers. You will play a critical role in transforming how we understand information risks and streamline the workflows that ensure we remain compliant and secure in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

You are an Undergraduate student majoring in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Cybersecurity Risk Management, Finance, or a related technical-business field
Proven ability to use AI tools effectively to research, code, and learn new technical concepts quickly and responsibly.
Exceptional communication skills with a strong ability to liaison between highly technical and regulatory-focused departments.
Strong statistical and analytical capabilities with the ability to apply mathematical logic to risk scenarios and financial loss estimations.
Demonstrated ability to build workflows to solve for manual operational bottlenecks.
Foundational understanding of information security risk, data privacy principles, and financial loss drivers.
A "builder" mindset with the intellectual curiosity to identify process gaps and suggest solutions while maintaining a high level of integrity and discretion in handling data.

Responsibilities

Support enterprise-wide risk analysis by collecting evidence and modeling potential financial loss scenarios using standardized frameworks to provide data-driven mitigation recommendations.
Design and implement logical workflows for information security processes, improving efficiency in cross-departmental tasks.
Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, Legal, and Compliance to gather requirements, facilitate project updates, and ensure alignment on risk-based initiatives.
Facilitate the extraction and reporting of sensitive data findings to Legal and Compliance stakeholders to support regulatory reviews and investigations.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the daily operations of Enterprise Risk and the wider Information Security team.
