Position Summary We have a summer internship position available for college students or recent graduates who are looking for exposure to credit union s and general fina ncia l services experience . This position will be primarily based withi n the People Department, which includes Human Resources and Learning & Development. Duties will include assisting the People Department on projects benefit ing the credit union and the associates, as well as helping with events contributing to company culture . There will also be exposure to other departments within the credit union to ensure exposure to the many facets of our credit union. Program Duration & Structure Duration: 10– 12 weeks Schedule: minimum 20 -25 hours per week , more hours may be available Program Pillars Credit Union & Industry Education Immersion into the Human Resour ces and L&D areas Departmental Rotations Professional Development Capstone Project

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in college or a recent graduate
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail skills
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Reliable, predictable, on-time attendance is essential, particularly to assure duties are fulfilled
  • The associate will spend most of the working time sitting, standing or walking, including significant time using computers
  • Position requires repetitive hand movements, the daily ability to focus on several tasks at one time, analyze data and draw conclusions, quickly and accurately perform mathematical computations, analyze and explain complex information, communicate frequently with others in person, over the phone, via electronic communications, and in group presentations
  • The associate must be able to travel regularly among the branches supervised
  • The position may include occasional lifting of up to 15 lbs
