About The Position
We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible intern for a full-time 8-week summer internship. In this position, you will gain hands-on experience under the guidance of our talented professionals. This schedule for this internship is 40 hours per week Monday-Friday. Days of the week and work hours may change due to business needs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/General Education Diploma and currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Minimum of beginner proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-directed and able to work autonomously
- Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
Responsibilities
- Support management of internal communications platforms. Including but not limited to onsite tv’s, bulletin boards, campus signage, and interactive touch screens
- Audit media platforms for current content and any errors that need resolution
- Create high-quality and engaging content across various channels
- Work closely with other departments to align content with overall communications and trade marketing strategies and campaigns
- Serve as administrator and producer on monthly companywide Webcasts
- Create and distribute trade marketing collateral, including promotional material, sell sheets, and digital content
- Prepare and organize promotional materials, product samples, and event supplies
- Assist in planning, organizing, and executing trade shows, expos, and industry events
- Administrative duties as assigned to support Communications and Trade Marketing team
