You’ll get hands-on experience working on real publicity campaigns, collaborating with passionate team members, and you’ll learn how publicity helps stories reach new audiences. About the Program When: June 9 – August 13, 2026 Where: Naperville, IL ($17.00/hourly) Schedule: 24 hours/week (2 days in-person, 1 day remote) Who: Current college sophomores, juniors, seniors, or recent grads The Library Marketing team works across all imprints and titles. The team focuses on marketing librarians and educators through a variety of services such as trade advertising, trade shows, author events, social media, newsletters, mailings, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and distribution of advanced galley and final copy mailings, including brainstorming creative concepts and coordinating shipments.
  • Receive training in Canva and assist in creating engaging graphics for newsletters and social media.
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of social media marketing strategies to promote key titles and initiatives.
  • Assist with the coordination and on-site execution of events such as Anderson’s Bookshop’s annual LITapalooza and YAMFest.
  • Draft and edit marketing copy for newsletters, advertisements, and other promotional materials.
  • Maintain and update account information in internal databases and spreadsheets.
