The deadline for all the application materials and assessments to be completed is March 16, 2026. #summerinternship Summer Internship program will start on 6/1 and run through 7/31 The Intern supports departmental operations within the Imaging Department while gaining hands-on, practical experience in the healthcare field. Interns work under the supervision of a department leader or designee and contribute to daily operations, transporting patients, front desk duties, cleaning of equipment as well as other duties as assigned by department leader. Work under the supervision of a department leader or designee to complete assigned duties. Assist with operational, administrative or professional tasks aligned with department needs and the intern’s academic program. Observe, document, and communicate work progress, findings, or issues to the supervising leader or team. Interact and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization using appropriate communication methods. Participate in staff meetings, project meetings, and interdisciplinary discussions as requested. Proactively seek out learning opportunities, manage time effectively, and appropriately prioritize assignments. Follow all organizational policies, procedures, ethical standards, and confidentiality requirements. Accountable for performing core job responsibilities such as (patient registration, authorization and referral patient scheduling, switchboard/phones, patient check in process, patient check out process, and/or medical record maintenance) in addition to basic and more complex front office workflow functions vital to the effective and efficient functioning of the medical practice, clinic, and/or department. Will also transport patients.

Requirements

  • Education: Two years of High School required.
  • Experience: None required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Good interpersonal, organizational, communication, and listening skills.
  • Manual dexterity and visual perception.
  • Job requires good hearing, clear understandable speech, and good finger dexterity.
