Position Summary Summer Internship – Community Food Systems
Requirements
Must have completed a minimum of 12 credits within the last year (these 12 credits may come from high school dual enrollment credits) at one of the following eight Idaho public universities or colleges (private Idaho universities or colleges do not qualify) and are currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program.
Priority will be given to University of Idaho student applicants.

College of Western Idaho
College of Eastern Idaho
North Idaho College
Must provide own transportation and have the ability to travel to multiple work sites.
University will follow applicable policies if personal vehicle is used, which may include reimbursement at a pre-established rate.
Nice To Haves
Completed coursework in Agriculture, Horticulture, Environmental Science, Education, Food Systems or other relevant subject areas.
Outgoing and comfortable working with the public and volunteers.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
Experience working in retail or service industry.
Enjoys working in a variety of settings and environments with various audiences.
Experience in creating and distributing digital media and communications.
