About The Position

Under general supervision, assist the Water & Sewer Central Stores section in performing asset control, confirming warehouse bins and locations, and ensuring accurate treasury and inventory counts utilizing CityWorks.

Requirements

  • To qualify, an applicant must be a college student entering the sophomore or a higher class in the Spring of 2025 and must be majoring in Business Management, Business Administration, or a closely related curriculum.
  • Possession of a valid Class "C" non-commercial driver's license with no more than three (3) points.
  • Please be advised that this position requires a valid driver’s license, and you must include the full driver’s license number on the electronic application.

  • Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively on a team project
  • Ability to express ideas, information, and analysis in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form using clear, concise, and understandable language.
  • Must comply with all Federal (OSHA), State of Maryland (MOSH), safety regulations, and applicable Harford County safety policies, procedures, or manual as required for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizing CityWorks software system to; Locate and track inventory stock, warehouse organization, ensure accurate treasury and inventory counts, implement water and sewer asset control
  • Acts as a liaison for CityWorks improvements
  • Other administrative duties as assigned
