About The Position

PACCAR seeks a highly motivated second-year law student to join its Corporate Law Department in Bellevue, WA , for a full-time summer internship. Requirements

  • The successful candidate must be a current first-year law student
  • Possess superior analytical skills
  • Excel at writing
  • Enjoy tasks requiring attention to detail
  • Be resourceful, articulate, and passionate about business and law.
  • Candidates should submit a cover letter and writing sample with their application.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior corporate or insurance industry experience
  • A degree or training in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Experience resolving consumer complaints
  • A background in manufacturing
  • Any combination of the above.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting PACCAR’s legal team with document review and legal research on issues relevant to ongoing litigation and transactional matters.
  • Assignments may involve the following areas: product liability, employment issues, non-disclosure agreements, and other contracts, franchise law, real estate, corporate finance, licensing renewals, and intellectual property.
