Skadden offers a full-time, paid, 10-week summer internship. The dates of the program are May 19, 2025 - July 25, 2025. The intern will work a 35-hour week with regularly scheduled hours from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. This position will be based fully onsite in our Boston office. The intern will assist multiple departments by performing a variety of administrative tasks.

  • Assists multiple departments with projects including Attorney Recruiting, Conference Services and Events, Human Resources, Information Technology, Research & Knowledge Services, Operations, Office Services and Records.
  • Performs administrative tasks including filing, printing, scanning, photocopying, and compiling documents.
  • Enters data into databases and keeps processes organized.
  • Assists with preparing agendas, maintaining lists, scheduling meetings, assembling binders, and planning events.
  • Greets and escorts visitors to conference rooms or offices.
  • Demonstrates communication skills to facilitate effective work relationships with others.
  • Maintains physical presence at office to work as part of a team, meet colleagues, and use on-site equipment.
  • Manages Firm resources responsibly.
  • Complies with all Firm operations, policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Knowledge of relevant firm computer software programs (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel) with the ability to learn new software and operating systems.
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrates close attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities.
  • Able to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality.
