Requirements

  • Actively pursuing Bachelors or technical degree program with concentration in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Technology
  • Strong MS Excel and PC configuration skills
  • Strong PLC and HMI skills
  • Ability, willingness, and desire to work in a hands-on, industrial environment.
  • Ability and willingness to travel is required.
  • Ability and willingness to work outside in extreme weather conditions in an industrial environment.
  • Ability to build relationships, collaborate and work efficiently with team members.
  • Reliable transportation

  • Currently enrolled in your Senior or Junior year.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Controls Engineering group on projects to support our production facilities
  • Utilize Rockwell Software to design, upgrade or convert existing Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) programs
  • Participate in the design, construction, testing, implementation, and documentation portions of basic industrial control and/or information systems that meet requirements and team standards.
  • Assist in field operations including requirement definition, field survey, installation, checkout, commissioning and standby support.
  • Spend time learning technical skills; including computer aided drafting, hardware and software design techniques, software development and testing techniques, and system installation
