About The Position

The intern will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to various projects within our company. They will collaborate with team members, conduct research, and assist in organizing company events. This role will provide valuable learning experiences and the chance to develop practical skills.

Requirements

• Strong project management skills
• Ability to work on and complete multiple tasks under aggressive timeframes
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Work both independently and within a team to meet common goals
• Experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Incoming Junior or Senior later pursuing a bachelor’s degree with major in related field or equivalent education and experience
• Interest in Risk Management Insurance field
• Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside experienced Investment Advisor Representatives to gain exposure to the sales and operational dynamics of retirement plan advising
• Collaborate on preparing materials for client presentations under mentor guidance and review
• Participate in meetings with a participant education advisor to learn best practices for preparing and conducting client meetings
• Assist in the preparation of Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
• Attend biweekly check-in meetings with the Director or President to discuss progress and professional development
• Facilitate a final evaluation session with the Director and President to reflect on internship experiences, future goals, and provide feedback to enhance the internship program
