About The Position
Looking for a hands-on summer internship where you can work outside and build valuable skills? Join the Ryan Lawn and Tree team and get ready for a unique, physical, and highly rewarding experience. You'll gain practical knowledge and get trained by experts in a variety of fields. Our internship provides an opportunity to rotate through multiple departments, so you can learn a little bit of everything: Turf: Learn how to care for lawns through fertilization, weed and insect control, and disease management. Irrigation: Service and repair irrigation systems to keep landscapes healthy and green. Landscape/ Landscape Design: Help create stunning outdoor living spaces for our clients. Pruning & Tree Protection: Work with expert arborists and pruners to master tree and shrub care techniques. Client Communication: Engage directly with clients, providing excellent customer service and gaining real-world communication experience.
Requirements
- Ambitious & Eager to Learn
- Academically Inclined
- Physically Ready: Ability to lift 50 pounds and walk up to 3 miles a day.
- Licensed: A valid driver's license is required.
