About The Position

Work alongside the Program Director to implement summer programming for C -N Camps and Retreats.

• Hands on experience in one or multiple areas of camp related ministry and/or administration

• Agree with the Mission and Doctrinal Statement of C -N Mission / MWSB.
• Have a genuine love and appreciation for campers and rental groups.
• Understand that by becoming an employee, they will submit their personal preferences and expectations as secondary to the needs of the overall ministry
• Demonstrate professionalism through appearance, attitude and loyalty.

Responsibilities

• Work with Program Director to select camp theme for all summer camps.
• Develop decoration concept around camp theme and oversee implementation of camp decorations.
• Develop streamlined registration that is user friendly to both staff and those registering.
• Plan out camp registration day and delegate as necessary.
• Oversee assigning of all campers to rooms and teams.
• Plan to oversee all summer camp activities (arts, crafts, hikes, team challenges, etc.)
• Set the schedule for all summer camp chapels.
• Coach all summer camp counselors.
• Develop detailed itinerary in collaboration with each rental group.
• Coordinate C -N staff to meet specific programming and facility needs of each rental group.
• Communicate with Facilities staff to ensure all cleaning needs are met for each new rental group.
