Balfour HS Summer Intern
About The Position
The High School student employment roles and responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Clerical assistance of Program Support (making copies, preparing notices to be sent home, organization of non-confidential materials), Sport Support (assisting Instructional Assistants with daily sports, filling water jugs and supporting with transporting to different facilities, assisting with transporting sporting materials), and Peer Mentor Support (periodic check-ins with first year students for a smooth transition into the Balfour Academy, where Seniors will be assigned 1-2 first year students to mentor for the duration of the Summer).
Requirements
- Must be a High School student
- For Peer Mentor Support, must be a High School Senior
Responsibilities
- Provide clerical assistance for Program Support, including making copies, preparing notices to be sent home, and organizing non-confidential materials
- Assist Instructional Assistants with daily sports activities
- Fill water jugs and support with transporting them to different facilities
- Assist with transporting sporting materials
- Conduct periodic check-ins with first year students to facilitate a smooth transition into the Balfour Academy
- Mentor 1-2 first year students for the duration of the Summer (for High School Seniors)
