Balfour HS Summer Intern
About The Position
The High School student employment roles and responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Clerical assistance of Program Support (making copies, preparing notices to be sent home, organization of non-confidential materials), Sport Support (assisting Instructional Assistants with daily sports; filling water jugs and supporting with transporting to different facilities; assisting with transporting sporting materials), and Peer Mentor Support (periodic check-ins with first year students for a smooth transition into the Balfour Academy, where Seniors will be assigned 1-2 first year students to mentor for the duration of the Summer).
Responsibilities
- Clerical assistance of Program Support (making copies, preparing notices to be sent home, organization of non-confidential materials)
- Sport Support- Assist Instructional Assistants with daily sports; fill water jugs and support with transporting to different facilities; assisting with transporting sporting materials
- Peer Mentor Support- Periodic check-ins with first year students for a smooth transition into the Balfour Academy. Seniors will be assigned 1-2 first year students to mentor for the duration of the Summer.
