About The Position

The Specialty Leasing Summer Intern will support the execution and administration of Spinoso Real Estate Group’s Specialty Leasing Program across the portfolio. This role offers hands-on exposure to retail real estate operations, tenant relations, and revenue-generating initiatives, with a focus on process support, organization, and lead development. The intern will work closely with the Specialty Leasing team to improve operational efficiency, maintain accurate records, and contribute to pipeline growth.

Requirements

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with SharePoint is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Responsibilities

Assist with tracking and coordinating collections, including follow-ups and documentation of outstanding balances
Monitor internal workflows to ensure deals and agreements are progressing in a timely manner
Support the maintenance and organization of tenant files, agreements, and related documentation
Maintain and update SharePoint systems to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and consistency across the portfolio
Assist in lead generation efforts by researching prospective tenants, brands, and concepts aligned with property needs
Compile and maintain prospect lists and outreach tracking tools
Support the team in preparing leasing materials, presentations, and reporting
Identify gaps or inefficiencies in current workflows and suggest improvements
Ensure data integrity across tracking tools and reporting systems
Assist in reporting on leasing activity, pipeline status, and collections
