About The Position

As a summer intern, you will help create, optimize and test embedded software for some key SW drivers to be used in our automotive amplifier applications. You may also participate in developing and testing some TI controller drives for new advanced electrical circuit blocks that are being developed as part of a cutting-edge audio amplifier solution for one of our premium brands.

Requirements

  • Must have taken courses in, or closely related to, Software or Electrical Engineering
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills and be able to confidently interact and present information to senior leaders and executives
  • Must work collaboratively with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Must be currently enrolled in a related Bachelor's Degree program or higher at an accredited institution having completed your Sophomore year or later, taking at least one class in the semester/quarter before participation in the internship program, and returning to school for at least one semester upon completion of the internship program
  • Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA
  • Be willing to work in an office in Novi, Michigan.
  • Able to provide your own housing and transportation to/from work.
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization.
  • Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
  • Must provide full work availability from May 18, 2026 through August 7, 2026 and be able to work 40 hours per week

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of coursework and experience in embedded software development and control theory
  • Interest in the audio or automotive industry

Responsibilities

  • Work out of the Novi office and collaborate with System and Software engineers in software development, debugging and bench testing of key SW drivers and proof of concept designs to drive and refine best in class solutions driving advanced electrical architectures for the next generation of our premium amplifiers.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations for communication between employees, suppliers, and customers, as necessary.
  • Utilizes basic Microsoft Office software (ie., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Perform other duties as assigned
