About The Position

Xenith Solutions is looking for a driven and curious Summer Intern who’s excited to gain real‑world experience inside a small, family‑focused company that truly invests in its people. As a Summer Intern you will also gain hands-on experience applying data-driven techniques to real-world problems. Interns will work alongside experienced engineers and technologists to support the development of machine learning models, data pipelines, software engineering, and analytical tools that inform decision-making and enable rapid prototyping. This role emphasizes practical application, transforming raw data into insights, experimenting with algorithms, and contributing to prototype solutions that may evolve into operational capabilities. Ideal candidates are curious, analytical, and eager to apply classroom knowledge to meaningful, mission-focused technology challenges.

Requirements

  • Are currently pursuing a degree in: Computer Science Software Engineering Data Science Or a closely related technical field (i.e. Mathematics, Statistics, or Science)
  • Have some hands-on experience (academic, personal, or internship) with: Java and/or Python Front-end frameworks such as React (or similar) Basic cloud concepts or environments
  • Are eager to learn, ask questions, and take initiative
  • Enjoy solving problems and building things that work
  • Can communicate clearly and collaborate with a technical team

Responsibilities

  • Support software development and prototyping efforts
  • Write, test, and debug code in Java and/or Python
  • Contribute to web-based applications using React or similar frameworks
  • Assist with data processing, analytics, or visualization
  • Help configure and deploy applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar)
  • Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and technical problem-solving sessions
  • Learn how engineering teams operate in real-world, mission-driven environments
