About The Position

The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties, locations, and responsibilities performed by incumbent(s) in this job. This job description is not a “contract” between the employee and the Authority. The job duties and essential functions may be changed at the discretion of the General Manager. The Summer Intern, Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) Analyst will support reporting, dashboard development, and data analysis using Project Management Information Systems (PMIS), including Unifier and Primavera P6. This role will assist with analyzing PMIS data, performing data clean-up, and leveraging AI tools to support data-driven insights. The intern will also assist with the development of training materials, including PowerPoint presentations and corresponding guide videos. Through this experience, the intern will gain exposure to the capital project lifecycle and understand how PMIS tools are used to manage capital projects.

Requirements

  • Educational background or coursework in engineering or computer science.
  • Must be currently enrolled fulltime in an undergraduate or graduate program
  • Must have at least 30 credit hours complete
  • Must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • English

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of construction management and/or project controls.
  • Preferred Majors: Engineering or Computer Science
  • Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, and/or Python.
  • Experience using or experimenting with AI tools for data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with creating reports and dashboards using PMIS data from systems such as Unifier and P6.
  • Perform data analysis using AI tools to support reporting and project insights.
  • Conduct data clean-up and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency of PMIS data.
  • Support the development of PowerPoint-based training materials and corresponding guide or instructional videos.
  • Learn and apply knowledge of the capital project lifecycle and how PMIS tools are used to manage capital projects.
