HR People Systems & Analytics at SAS aligns HR data, technology, and business strategy to drive informed decision‑making and improved employee experiences. The team manages core HR systems, ensures data accuracy and governance, and delivers analytics, automation, and reporting that support leaders across the organization. As an intern, you might: Help construct a new workflow process for email campaign unsubscribe selections. Support data management initiatives, like improving precondition messages in recruiter workflows. Assist with data quality improvements through limited-scope profile updates. Build documentation and testing guides to ensure repeatable, scalable processes. Use Excel to evaluate datasets, test workflows, and verify results. Collaborate across HR and recruiting teams to understand system needs and user experience.

Requirements

  • You are an undergraduate student studying Human Resources, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or Business Administration; not graduating prior to December 2026.
  • Strong logical reasoning and ability to process data, spot patterns, and validate results.
  • Creative problem-solving with a focus on practical, user-friendly solutions.
  • Comfort with Excel (e.g., XLOOKUP), large datasets, and deduplication.
  • Curiosity about HR systems and how process design impacts candidate/employee experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow through on testing and documentation.
  • You’re curious, passionate, authentic and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do.
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Leadership abilities. Your past experiences demonstrate you’ll take initiative and go above and beyond the call of duty.
