About The Position

As a Product Management Intern on the SiriusXM Ad Experiences team, you will help shape how advertising is delivered across SiriusXM’s owned-and-operated experiences, including streaming and in-vehicle environments. You’ll work on foundational monetization initiatives that power scalable, measurable, and listener-conscious ad experiences. This internship offers hands-on exposure to product strategy, experimentation, and cross-platform ad delivery. You’ll collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Analytics, and Ad Tech partners to support key 2026 initiatives, which are critical to growing ad revenue while balancing a trusted and welcomed listener experience. You will have the opportunity to contribute directly to real-world product decisions, develop product artifacts used by cross-functional teams, and help evaluate experiments that influence SiriusXM’s ad monetization roadmap.

Requirements

  • You must be 18 years of age or older
  • Internships are open to current students enrolled at a university (those graduating by May 2027 are preferred) and recent graduates who graduated within the 12-month period prior to the start of the internship
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with comfort presenting ideas and recommendations.
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous internship or work experience in consumer Internet or other consumer technology products preferred.
  • Experience or interest in user research, experimentation, analytics, or interaction design is a plus.
  • Curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to challenge assumptions and ask thoughtful questions.
  • Passion for audio, media, or technology products—and an interest in how advertising supports free and premium experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and evolution of ads across SiriusXM’s owned-and-operated products, contributing to the scaling of ad delivery mechanics to enable measurable impressions across platforms.
  • Analyze listener behavior, ad performance data, and experimentation results to inform product decisions related to ad load, format design, and surface readiness.
  • Help define product requirements, success metrics, and experiment plans in partnership with the analytics team.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Ad Tech, and Operations to assess feasibility, trade-offs, and rollout considerations.
  • Conduct competitive research and market analysis to identify emerging ad trends and monetization opportunities.
  • Create clear documentation such as PRDs, experiment briefs, user flows, and stakeholder presentations.
  • Participate in product reviews, experimentation readouts, and planning discussions, showcasing your work and receiving feedback from experienced product and technology leaders.
