Role Summary The Press-Shop/Tooling Intern will support the qualification and launch readiness of sheet metal parts for the Atlas Successor program. This role focuses on verifying SOP readiness and ensuring all press dies can run at the required rate. The intern will work closely with press-shop operations to track and present launch KPIs related to run-speed and performance.

Requirements

  • A rising college Junior, Senior or recent graduate
  • Strong GPA
  • Strong preference for Engineering majors (Mechanical and Industrial)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Track press runs of Atlas Successor dies at Chattanooga press-shop locations.
  • Monitor press run performance and compile data for launch readiness reporting.
  • Assist in verifying SOP readiness and press die capability.
  • Support KPI tracking and presentation for launch performance metrics.
