Requirements

  • Strong academic record.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated interest in corporate law, international business, or manufacturing industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys with legal research, analysis, and preparation of memoranda on a variety of legal issues, including commercial contracts, intellectual property, compliance, and corporate governance.
  • Review, organize, and maintain legal documents, agreements, and corporate records.
  • Support the contract review process by assisting with initial document review and redlining under attorney supervision.
  • Participate in internal meetings with legal team members and other departments to understand business needs and legal implications.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and other legal department communications.
  • Help manage and organize legal department resources and databases.
  • Conduct factual investigations and gather information relevant to ongoing legal matters.
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the efficient operation of the legal department.
