About The Position

Kontoor Brands is looking to add a summer intern to our Internal Audit team. As a valued member of Kontoor’s Internal Audit team you will have the unique opportunity to work with a wide variety of departments and with individuals across all levels of the organization. You will gain a broad perspective and understanding of the operations and inner workings of a large, publicly traded company. You will receive ongoing coaching and guidance each day providing opportunities to develop both technical and interpersonal skills that will provide lasting value to your career. You will be given the ability to perform meaningful work and the insight to see the impact of your contributions.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with people at all levels of the organization
• Must be well organized, attentive to detail, and possess time management skills
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Must have strong computer skills including proficiency in MS Office
• Professional skepticism and a commitment to ethical behavior
• Possess an agile mindset and an enthusiasm for continuous learning
• Pursuing an undergraduate degree (ideally a rising senior) or post-graduate degree, majoring in accounting, finance, or other relevant, business-related discipline

Nice To Haves

• Spanish language proficiency is desirable but not required
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or similar platforms is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Support operational audits to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes.
• Support compliance audits to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Collaborate with team members to develop and enhance data visualizations that facilitate audit insights and decision-making.
• Contribute to audit reports by summarizing findings, recommendations, and management responses.
