Summer Intern – Information Technology Application Development
About The Position
The IT Application Development Summer Intern will support a strategic technology initiative focused on modernizing the organization’s payment platform architecture. This project-based internship is designed for students pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business Analytics, or related disciplines. The intern will observe and analyze the implementation of a modern payment platform integrating premium collections and claims disbursements through a scalable microservices architecture. The capstone project will take the form of a structured case study evaluating implementation strategy, deployment methodology, performance outcomes, and long-term recommendations. At the conclusion of the internship, the intern will present findings to executive leadership. This is a temporary, project-based internship for Summer 2026.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field.
- Rising junior or senior preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in system architecture, APIs, cloud-native platforms, or fintech innovation.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and summarize findings clearly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with technical teams.
