About The Position

Interns work with experts in their fields, gain valuable job experience, and engage in meaningful work. Job Responsibilities: Evaluation and Impact exists to deepen the institutional capacity for data-driven decision making in support of the Barnes’s mission to promote the advancement of education and the appreciation of the fine arts. We do this cross-institutionally to drive increases in visitation and program participation, optimize visitor and audience experience, monitor progress toward strategic goals, and complement departmental work as a resource and thought partner. For matriculated students, preference will be given to graduate students.

Requirements

  • Eligible interns are either an undergraduate or graduate student or a recent college graduate.
  • Criminal Background-National
  • Ability to occasionally transport up to 25 lbs. of files, equipment or supplies.
  • Ability to move to access files, equipment or supplies.
  • This position requires extended time on the computer.
  • Clearly communicate in person, by phone, and by video conference.
  • Communicate with others in conversational and written English.
  • Position operates in the foundation’s buildings and on the foundation’s grounds at the Philadelphia campus.
  • Position requires extended time on the computer.

Responsibilities

  • Implement systematic, integrated, and timely data collection efforts.
  • Conduct qualitative and/or quantitative data analysis.
  • Create data visualizations.
  • Support research project design and development.
  • Provide administrative support as needed.
