At DC Water, we provide more than 700,000 District of Columbia residents and 24.6 million annual visitors with essential water, wastewater, and stormwater services. DC Water also provides wholesale wastewater treatment services for 1.8 million people in Montgomery and Prince George's counties in Maryland, and Fairfax and Loudoun counties in Virginia. Role Description: The Summer Intern, ERP Systems and Controls will support tasks related to data analysis, data cleanup, employee records management, and documentation for Oracle and HCM systems. The intern will assist with project deliverables and testing in an enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems context.

Requirements

  • IT-related education or experience.
  • Must be currently enrolled fulltime in an undergraduate or graduate program
  • Must have at least 30 credit hours complete
  • Must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of project management, data management, and issue resolution.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of IT-related experience or education.
  • Preferred Major: IT, Analytics, Business with a concentration in IT.
  • Experience with Oracle and HCM systems.
  • Familiarity with report development in ERP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Gain experience in data analysis, testing, and documentation related to ERP and HCM systems.
  • Assist with data analysis, cleanup, and documentation.
  • Provide support for project deliverables and testing.
  • Prepare data reports, documentation, and project-related deliverables.
