Students with a genuine interest in developing a career in sustainability, particularly in the waste industry, are encouraged to apply! Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate engineering, science, policy or sustainability degree program with a focus or interest in environmental and sustainability issues
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated analytical skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Detail-oriented with evidence of creative problem-solving approach
• Strong team player
• Positive attitude coupled with passion & willingness to learn
• Strong general computer skills required, including experience with Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Support the publication of environmental data to communicate our performance and sustainability information to stakeholders.
• Assist in the analysis and presentation of Reworld’s operational and environmental data.
• Support management of audit findings for facility operations against corporate environmental programs.
• Conduct policy research to support government relations
• Conduct field activities to support community relations teams.
• Have an opportunity to support internal sustainability initiatives such as waste reduction, recycling, and educational events.
