About The Position

At Beckman Coulter, one of Danaher’s operating companies, the focus is on life sciences, diagnostics, and biotechnology, aiming to innovate for tangible impact and transform human health. The company has been dedicated to advancing and optimizing the laboratory for over 80 years. This specific role is a 10–12 week, full-time summer internship within the Finance and Cost Accounting organization. The intern will support manufacturing costing, analytics, and reporting initiatives. Key responsibilities include building and validating Power BI reports, analyzing items and standard costs, and helping identify gaps such as missing or zero costs across manufacturing organizations. The role aims to improve cost accuracy, visibility, and decision-making for manufacturing and finance leaders, while providing the intern with hands-on experience with real financial data and analytics tools used in day-to-day operations. This position reports to the Director of Finance, Inventory, and is part of the North America Finished Goods Accounting team, located in Brea, CA, as an on-site role. Requirements

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Completed some course work in accounting to date as part of degree
Graduating within one year and interest in pursuing a career in accounting or finance within a large multinational corporation
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
