About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales/Account Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in sales strategy, market research, and client engagement while working alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Requirements

  • A thorough understanding of marketing, design thinking or finance
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Automotive industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
  • Good understanding of CRM database.
  • Good communications skills.
  • Must be currently enrolled in a related Bachelor's Degree program or higher at an accredited institution having completed your Sophomore year or later, taking at least one class in the semester/quarter before participation in the internship program, and returning to school for at least one semester upon completion of the internship program
  • Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA
  • Be willing to work in an office in Novi, Michigan.
  • Able to provide your own housing and transportation to/from work.
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization.
  • Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
  • Must provide full work availability from May 18, 2026 through August 7, 2026 and be able to work 40 hours per week

Nice To Haves

  • Completed coursework or training in Supply Chain Management
  • Global experience - e.g., collaboration with teams in various geographies

Responsibilities

  • Support the Account Management team in the creation of Master Price list for Development products, utilizing Microsoft Office tools
  • Act as the point person on change management on Development programs.
  • Assist with Change Management Tracking for both internal and External teams.
  • Support in Tracking Claims recovery with Jey project members.
  • Assist in developing Sales Presentation, proposal for both internal and external customers.
  • Assist in identifying market trends within HARMAN’s key industries.
  • Support Account Receivable tracking and tooling PO’s for global Projects.
  • Participate in sales meetings, networking events, and industry conferences as needed.
