About The Position

The USG Bridgeport, AL. location is looking for temporary operators for the summer. There may be an opportunity for candidates to start earlier based on availability. Opportunities exist in several departments in the plant. Specific job duties will depend on which department the candidate is placed in, but could involve the following: DESCRIPTION: • Responsible for general housekeeping activities • Responsible for painting, organizing parts and general clean-up • Responsible for performing general maintenance or cleaning of plant equipment. • Other duties as assigned. Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate. USG employees enjoy a number of benefit options for themselves and their families. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Attending college or have enrolled for the fall semester.
  • Willing and able to work in a manufacturing setting in a safe manner and follow all plant safety rules and practices.
  • Maintain a high standard for housekeeping within the work area.
  • Good communication skills
  • Successful completion of pre-employment physical and drug screen via hair test.
