This coordinator is responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating the RISE with WiSE summer experience for high school juniors and seniors. The person in this role will collaborate with campus and corporate partners to design high-quality STEM learning experiences, develop community-building activities for participants, and oversee the work of undergraduate students who serve as StEMS (camp counselors). The position is approximately 10 hours a week from January to May and August, then 40 hours a week from June to July. The incumbent must be available to work extended hours and reside in the residence halls from July 12th through the 16th, and from July 20th to 24th, during the residential summer camps. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational, planning, and time management abilities, collaborate effectively with others, and communicate clearly and promptly-both orally and in writing-to various audiences."
