About The Position
Regional West Medical Center is seeking a Summer Groundskeeper to assist with maintaining the appearance, safety, and functionality of our campus grounds during the summer months. Under the supervision of the Director of Facilities, this role supports daily landscaping, lawn care, irrigation, and general exterior maintenance activities across all Regional West facilities. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on outdoor work and take pride in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous groundskeeping or landscaping experience preferred, but not required
- Valid driver’s license required
Responsibilities
- Mow lawns using riding and hand power mowers
- Plant, water, and maintain flowerbeds, trees, and shrubs
- Operate and assist with minor repairs to underground sprinkler systems
- Maintain cleanliness of sidewalks, walkways, and exterior areas
- Assist with preventative maintenance of grounds equipment
- Perform general grounds and property maintenance tasks as assigned
- Follow all safety standards and departmental procedures
