About The Position
Summer Grounds Workers Temporary Positions (up to 4) Montgomery County Public Schools in Virginia, is now accepting applications for temporary summer grounds worker positions that are available in the division. These positions may begin on or about June 1, 2026, through about August 7, 2026 (dates may vary depending on the needs of the division). Position shall not exceed 40 hours per week and hours may vary depending on the needs of the division. JOB DESCRIPTION: The temporary summer grounds worker performs duties to include mowing, trimming, mulching, and other grounds maintenance tasks at various division locations.

- Ability to work cooperatively with others
- Ability to respond well to emergencies
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor conditions
- Dependability and punctuality required
