About The Position

Join the team at Killington Resort as a Summer Grounds Worker and play a vital role in maintaining the beauty and functionality of our mountain during the summer season. This position helps maintain a safe, clean, and inviting environment for our guests and staff. Your contributions will support outdoor recreation, special events, and daily operations in the breathtaking Green Mountains.

Requirements

• Ability to perform physical labor, for a continuous amount of time, including lifting up to 60 lbs and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Experience operating a truck and trailer in tow
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Reliable personal transportation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication skills and a positive attitude
• Willingness to learn new tasks and adapt to changing priorities
• Appreciation for outdoor environments and pride in your work

Nice To Haves

• Experience with landscaping tools and machinery is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Perform landscaping duties, including litter clean up, power brooming, mowing, trimming, leaf blowing, weeding, planting, and mulching
• Maintain walkways, walking paths, and other outdoor spaces to ensure they are safe and accessible
• Assist with maintenance of equipment
• Remove debris and ensure the cleanliness of public spaces and recreational areas
• Support the setup and teardown of events and activities as needed
• Operate and maintain tools, machinery, and vehicles safely and efficiently on a daily basis
• Perform other tasks as assigned
