About The Position

ARTISAN is seeking a dependable and energetic Summer Grounds Crew to support our onsite teams with key landscaping, cleaning, and exterior upkeep tasks at our multifamily communities. This hands-on seasonal role is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in creating a clean and welcoming environment, and is interested in gaining exposure to property operations and grounds care.

Our Summer Grounds Crew will assist with maintaining outdoor spaces, including watering flowers, setting up and storing sprinkler equipment, keeping dumpster areas clean, and supporting general grounds projects such as trash pickup and planter care. Assignments may vary across communities and will include both daily routines and one-time seasonal projects.

While this is a seasonal position, continued employment beyond the summer may be offered based on performance and business needs at the discretion of the Regional Manager.

Requirements

• Friendly, outgoing demeanor with a genuine passion for helping others.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm and organized in high-volume or fast-paced settings.
• Flexible, proactive, and committed to ARTISAN’s team-driven culture.
• Must enjoy working outdoors and be able to work in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and walking.
• Reliable transportation to assigned community locations.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• A strong understanding of OSHA safety protocols is required.

Nice To Haves

• Prior landscaping or grounds experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate sprinklers, hoses, and watering systems each morning for seasonal planters and clubhouse landscaping.
• Water and maintain flower beds and decorative planters at designated properties.
• Assist with trash pickup and grounds cleaning to ensure curb appeal standards are met.
• Clean and maintain dumpster corrals and surrounding areas.
• Support community curb appeal through light landscaping, sweeping, weeding, and exterior detail work.
• Assist with daily pool maintenance and ensure the cleanliness and organization of the pool area.
• Additional duties as assigned.
