About The Position

Jewelers Mutual is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Grounds Crew Temp to join
our Facilities team. This role is responsible for the upkeep and beautification
of the campus grounds through landscaping, lawn care, and general exterior
maintenance. The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in outdoor work, and
is comfortable operating various tools and equipment.

This role will report for 3 months during the summer of 2026
Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pmCST

Requirements

• Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or outdoor maintenance preferred
• Ability to safely operate lawn mowers, weed eaters, blowers, and other grounds equipment
• Physically able to perform manual labor in various weather conditions (standing, lifting, bending, etc.)
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and punctuality
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of employment
• Must be able to work 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Perform routine lawn maintenance, including mowing grass across campus grounds
• Remove weeds from landscaping beds and outdoor areas
• Spread mulch and black fill as needed for landscaping projects
• Plant grass and assist with other basic horticulture tasks
• Use weed eaters, blowers, and other equipment to maintain a clean appearance around buildings and walkways
• Blow off and clean campus parking lots and sidewalks
• Wash and maintain exterior facility equipment and tools
• Support the general maintenance crew with additional duties as needed
