About The Position

Eigen Labs is building the infrastructure for a more trustworthy internet. Today's digital world runs on trust-me promises: "Trust that this AI model is giving you unbiased results." "Trust that this platform isn't manipulating your feed." "Trust that this service will honor its commitments." These trust assumptions create massive friction and limit what's possible online. EigenCloud changes this by making any digital service verifiable. Built on our EigenLayer protocol, which has attracted billions in economic security, EigenCloud lets developers build applications with mathematical trust guarantees instead of pinky promises. For developers, this means the best of both worlds: Use familiar cloud tools and programming environments while gaining blockchain-level verifiability. No need to rewrite your application in specialized blockchain languages or accept the limitations of smart contract environments. With the fastest-growing developer ecosystem in crypto and backing from top-tier investors, we're at the inflection point where verifiable computing goes mainstream. Ready to build the trust layer for the internet? We're looking for builders who want to solve hard problems and create technology that makes the digital world fundamentally more reliable. You’ll own the development of EigenCloud-native applications and product prototypes during our intensive 8-week summer program. You’ll ship in rapid milestones, build in public (where appropriate), and produce real, usable artifacts that help developers adopt EigenCloud. As part of a highly selective cohort of builders, you’ll work closely with our engineers and mentors to create real-world solutions that advance our mission: building humanity’s coordination engine for open innovation. Your work will directly accelerate ecosystem growth through reference apps, tooling, and launchable products. You will have access to industry leaders who will serve as mentors. This program will be on-site in San Francisco. We will consider applicants with valid US work authorization only.

Requirements

Creative thinking ability to brainstorm strong and unique ideas that solve real problems
Proficiency with modern development tools like Cursor to accelerate your workflow
An all-in attitude and willingness to put your best effort into every aspect of your work
Ability to move fast and bring products to proof-of-concept in less than 3-5 days
High agency and self-direction to take ownership of projects and drive them to completion
Passion for blockchain technology and alignment with our mission of permissionless innovation
Strong technical foundation and eagerness to learn new technologies quickly
Collaborative spirit and ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment

Responsibilities

Choose a problem space and either build solo or form a small team with other fellows
Rapidly prototype ideas and bring them to a working POC in 3–5 days
Build products that showcase what EigenCloud enables (apps, developer tools, templates, integrations, workflows)
Iterate in weekly milestones: ship → get feedback → refine
Work closely with mentors/engineers through reviews, office hours, and async feedback loops (no structured bootcamp)
Present progress in weekly standups and deliver a polished demo at the Hackathon Finale / Demo Day
Produce high-quality deliverables that help others build (e.g., open-source repo, docs, demo video, sample deployment)
If there’s strong traction, you may extend the project beyond the program and/or transition to a full-time role
