About The Position

The Hazlitt Fellowships Intern will provide general support for FEE’s Hazlitt Fellowship, mainly as a teaching assistant (TA). The intern will assist chief instructor Dan Sanchez in supporting 24 Hazlitt Fellows. The Hazlitt Fellows learn how to understand and communicate the ideas of liberty through lectures, workshops, readings, writing assignments, and speaking exercises. The intern will support the fellows by reviewing, marking, and tracking their assignments, especially written compositions and video recordings. Marking involves checking the assignments against a checklist of straightforward requirements. The intern will not need to give extensive editorial feedback. The intern will attend and provide basic technical support for fellowship Zoom calls (on Mondays and Tuesdays from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm ET) as well as provide general administrative and technical support with such tools as Google Classroom, Google Docs, Google Drive, and Google Forms. This will include posting Zoom call recordings to Google Classroom. This role is open to part-time or full-time, onsite or remote intern talent.
