About The Position

The Koch Internship Program (KIP) is a paid, 12-week experiential learning program run by Stand Together Fellowships that offers meaningful work experience at non-profits all over the United States tackling some of our nation's most pressing challenges. Eligible candidates will be geographically located within the U.S. and authorized to work in the U.S. through the duration of the program. Throughout your internship, you will gain meaningful professional experience at a partner organization and participate in professional development built around a 2-day, in-person summit hosted by Stand Together Fellowships at Stand Together's Headquarters in Arlington, Virginia, supported by virtual programming that takes place every other Thursday between 1- 4:00 pm ET. Interns will receive either a $7,500 or $5,500 stipend from Stand Together Fellowships depending on whether they are working full-time (32 hours/week) or part-time (24 hours/week) with the partner organization. The programming provided by Stand Together Fellowships focuses on three objectives: 1. understanding the foundational principles of a free society such as individual liberty, limited government, free markets, and the rule of law; 2. learning the Stand Together community's vision for change and how a principled approach to problem solving can help address society's biggest challenges; and 3. presenting opportunities and pathways to build a career that advances liberty and free society. About the Foundation for Economic Education (FEE): The Foundation for Economic Education (FEE) is a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the economic, ethical, and legal principles of a free society. About FEE's Student Engagement Team: The Student Engagement department leads FEE’s student-facing events. Through a mix of in-person and virtual programs, FEE partners with schools, educators, and organizations to introduce students to the principles of a free society, fostering deeper understanding and thoughtful discussions. From outreach and relationship-building to event logistics and execution, the Student Engagement team works to create engaging, high-impact experiences that challenge and inspire the next generation. Domestically, FEE’s programs have reached students in nearly all 50 states. Internationally, FEE has a growing footprint in Latin America. The Logistics Intern will help create and execute immersive, fun, and educational events for FEE’s various 11-26-year-old audiences. Requirements

  • Business, Economics, Project Management or other related majors desired, but not required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong customer service skills.
  • Ability juggling multiple priorities while keeping everything on track and maintaining careful attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently and take initiative with minimal supervision.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial spirit to improve existing programs.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee virtual and in-person program logistics, such as the seminar schedule, curriculum, speaker selection, online platform registration, day-of logistics, invoices, etc.
  • Handle logistics including, but not limited to creating logistics packets, landing and registration pages, zoom links, calendar invites, etc.
  • Maintain accurate reporting in Salesforce.
  • Work closely with your intern supervisor on new projects, ideas, and initiatives.
  • Track and report relevant KPIs (key performance indicators).
