About The Position

Our Summer Explorations Camp Aides support Lead Teachers and Coaches in supervising students during camp. Camp Aides help prepare and support engaging camp experiences that spark curiosity, creativity, and exploration for students ranging in age from preschool through 8th grade. They assist with a variety of activities, sports, outdoor play, food service, classroom activities and walking students from one location to another on campus. Our Camp Aides place students at the center of all activities to ensure a safe, positive, and enriching camp experience for each child. Their curiosity and enthusiasm help create a fun and supportive summer environment. Summer Explorations staff actively participate in scheduled meetings and collaborate with colleagues to ensure a successful camp experience for all students. Collegiate staff share a commitment to doing whatever tasks are necessary to enhance the student experience. Our Camp Aides come from diverse backgrounds and share a commitment to supporting engaging experiences for students. Experience working with children is preferred; coursework in education, child development, or a related field is beneficial but not required.
