The ACHE SEP Administrative Intern will participate in a structured 10-week internship designed to expose emerging healthcare leaders to executive leadership, strategic initiatives, and operational management and provide hands-on experience within a nationally recognized comprehensive cancer center. For Summer 2026, the intern will report to a designated preceptor within Clinical Operations and will work closely with senior leaders across clinical and nursing operations to gain hands-on experience in complex healthcare delivery environments. Additionally, the intern will contribute to a defined project and complete a capstone presentation at the conclusion of the internship. This role offers a meaningful opportunity for exposure to healthcare operations, change management, and cross-functional collaboration, while supporting real-time operational work that directly impacts patient care delivery. It will provide direct exposure to leadership and offers the chance to understand how large academic health systems translate strategy into operational execution. This internship will follow a project-based model with selective shadowing opportunities as appropriate.
