Paraprofessional Summer Youth Enrichment Program
About The Position
Perform paraprofessional work by assisting instructors with students grades 1-12 in the JCCC summer youth enrichment classes. Support summer youth instructors, manage paperwork, assist with classroom management, and supervise students when instructors leave the room. Position details include but are not limited to: Assist with the check-in and check-out of students. Confirm parents have completed all required paperwork. Assist instructors in the administration of learning activities. Confirm students are supervised, safe, and accounted for at all times. Assist instructors with setting up and putting away classroom materials. Collaborate with the instructor to provide timely communication and updates to parents. Confer with instructors to evaluate student progress and/or implement specific student objectives.
Requirements
- Requires a High School Diploma and 3+ years of related experience.
- Possess valid CPR/First Aid card. (JCCC will assist in obtaining).
- May assist less-experienced team members.

- Unofficial transcripts are required for all Adjunct faculty and Faculty positions.
